My Story

My name is Max, I’m a non-binary queer photographer and Filmmaker based in Cape Town. I have a BA Degree majoring in Psychology and I just won a bursary to study Film.

I developed a passion for photography in 2018, I found myself trying to take scenes and objects that we look at daily and wanting to show people a parallel of what they are used to seeing. Today I find myself capturing special moments. MaxBlurr is about capturing authentic photos for you.

The film industry caught my attention in 2022 while working on the Gender Project. The filmmaking space is where I create interactive and impactful worlds using themes of humour and realism.
